Adding
Text to the Storyboard
The storyboard has areas for adding text to
the panels and setting the scene number for
the panel. In order to change the storyboard
from "View" mode to "Edit"
mode, you must select the command "Edit"
- "Edit Storyboard Text" from the
main menu or use the icon pictured above. A
number of areas will display edit boxes where
you can add the text. Once adding of the text
is complete, simply move to another storyboard
page or choose the "Edit" - "Update
Panel" command or use the Update icon in
the project toolbar. The storyboard will then
revert back to "View Mode" displaying
your changes.
Tip: Text can be copied from other applications
or from the Script, and pasted into the edit
boxes saving much typing time!

Setting
the Scene Number
BoardMaster will automatically number the scene
for you. The numbering sequence for scenes is
also done automatically by Boardmaster. For
example if you set the Scene Number to "10"
for 3 consecutive panels, BoardMaster will number
these panels 1 of 3, 2 of 3, and 3 of 3. BoardMaster
will automatically assign the scene number of
a new image to the same scene number as the
previous image. To minimize your work, set the
scene number of an image whenever the scene
changes. BoardMaster will use this new scene
number for subsequent images that are added
to the project. You set the scene number by
entering a number in the edit box above the
panel while in edit mode. See adding text to
the storyboard above for more detail. Related
