Recording Sound

Many programs exist for recording WAV files. Windows will normally have a program that can be accessed through Start Button - "Programs""Accessories""Multimedia""Sound Recorder". You can also record a WAV file from BoardMaster. In the "Panel Timing and Sound" dialog select the "Use Wav File" checkbox. Next select the "Enable Recording" checkbox. You will see a red button displayed. Press on the red button with the mouse and the recording will begin. Speak or play music into your computers microphone. When you are finished recording click on the black square button to stop the recording process. Click on the play button (Black Triangle) to play back your recording. To erase the wav file use the "Empty Wav File" button. To save your recording to a file use the "Save Wav File" button. Once saved the wav file can then be used with your animatic.
