2.0 Demo/Viewer Instructions
Please read these instructions before downloading.
You may want to print them and then follow
along as you go through them step by step.
NOTE: The
documentation is not included in the installer
and needs to be downloaded separately.
Please view the Readme file for system requirements, limitations and more
information regarding the demo version.
If you do not know how to choose directories,
run files, or any other of the Windows functions
in the steps below, please refer to your
Windows help file.
Downloading the file
Right click the link below and select "Save
Target As..." or "Save Link As...".
Storyview
2.0 demo.exe (9.2Mb).
A window will appear asking you where you
want to put the file on your machine. This
can be any directory, as long as you know
where it is. Select the directory you want
and click Save.

Right click the Tutorial Help File link
above and choose "Save Target As..." or
"Save Link As...".

Installing the Demo
After it finishes downloading, you need
to run the installer, which is called Storyview
2.0 demo.exe. You can do this by finding
it on your hard drive and double-clicking
on it (easiest).
Or, type in the path and file name under
Run as described below:
- Click on Start.
- Click on Run.
- Type in (or Browse to) the path and
file name where you downloaded the updater:
e.g. c:\your_directory\Storyview 2.0 demo.exe
and hit ENTER.
In step 3 above, make sure to substitute
the real directory for your_directory. Either
way you choose to run it, the installer
will automatically launch. Follow the on-screen
instructions to install the StoryView demo.
When it is done installing, you're ready
to run! Click on the StoryView icon on the
Desktop to start the program!
